Don't allow anyone to tell you that as soon as you find God, everything is honky dory, la la land, happiness and rainbows. Lol. It's a lie, don't buy into that trap.
Life is life. Life is HARD. There are family problems, health problems, money problems, future problems etc. etc...
Today was a particular rubbish day for me. Every other thought was "But God WHY?" "Again? Really God?"
And then if you're like me, you're mind goes into over drive and EVERYTHING becomes a problem.
I had my pity party, threw myself a nice little tantrum of tears and woe is me.. blah blah blah.
And then I picked up my bible and read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.
9. "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
10. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
BOOM!
Do you know what that scripture says to me? It says to me that you will go through weak times, you will get insulted, you will go through hardships and persecutions and difficulties but in those times, when life is life and life is hard and you don't know what to do GOD WILL COME THROUGH FOR YOU!!
Instead of crying, I'm laughing because I know at the end of it all God will come in and showcase His power on my behalf.
I don't brag or boast about my strengths or the things that I've done. I brag about what He has done for me and through me and what He is about to do for me, despite what things may look like now.
Stay blessed,
Chid x
p.s. Jesus loves you like MAD and yes life is hard, but with Him life is so much better.
The bible says that He bears the problems so that you don't have to.
Run into Him and lean on HIm.
Matthew 11:28-30
28. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
